Do you need some strategic consulting support to help you think about how to expand into a new market? Perhaps you need a business development plan putting together for a new product or service? Or maybe you need to do a thorough competitor analysis but don’t have the resources available in your team? As part of the Ashridge MBA participants work with client organisations on a live consulting project – so why not see if our Ashridge MBA talent can help you address your business challenges?

Our MBA participants have an average of 14 years work experience across a wide range of industries and functions and will already have undertaken several group consultancy projects as part of their course. Towards the end of their programme they are available to take on a strategic level project lasting several months and to provide you with practical well-researched solutions and recommendations to take forward.

Projects can cover any aspect of management and can be from organisations of any sector or size. One of our previous MBA students worked with Aston Martin Lagonda for example on a customer engagement project while another helped BT’s cost transformation division find new ways of driving efficiencies and improving the bottom line. Other participants have helped with rebranding exercises identified and negotiated strategic partnerships or developed corporate social responsibility strategies for their host companies.

It’s a win-win situation. The MBA student has the chance to hone the practical and leadership skills that will help them succeed in a competitive business environment – while you get professional consultancy without the costs associated with a large professional practice plus a whole host of new insights and ideas that you can use to take your organisation forward.

“ Simon (an Ashridge MBA student) worked very hard throughout his placement with us – he was ambitious in the scope that he took on and energetic in perusing a wide variety of potential solutions. He quickly fitted in well with the team here showing strong interpersonal skills flexibility and professionalism in his approach to working with us. We would be delighted to host another student from Ashridge” said Teresa Beach Catlin Plc.

The current cohort of MBAs are actively looking for projects now so if you are interested in hosting a student please get in touch as soon as possible to ensure you have the widest possible choice of candidates.
