Covers the financial aspects of value creation and considers what is meant by “value” for a business, what strategies and decisions drive the value and what are some of the key issues in this area for managers to be aware of. It is naturally closely linked with the process of company valuation – although the emphasis is how managers in a business can impact its value rather than on deal making, acquisitions/disposals and the workings of the capital markets.
