Making Corporate Responsibility Work: Lessons From Real Business

Corporate Social Responsibility or Corporate Responsibility (CR) is still an emerging discipline and many organisations have difficulty in defining, executing and communicating their role as responsible organisations. They struggle with questions such as: - What does CR mean? - Why should companies engage in it? - How should companies ensure that they are responsible? The British Quality Foundation and the Ashridge Centre for Business and Society decided to research good CR practice in ten companies - Adnams, AWG, Carillion, Go-Ahead Group, Lloyds TSB, mmO2, Ricoh UK Products, Vauxhall Motors, Woolworths Group and Yell Group - to find learning from which other organisations could benefit.
