This research investigates the critical issue of ensuring that customised management development is effective, delivering the results that businesses really need. It explores key issues in curriculum design and delivery, offering insights into the factors which contribute to the impact of executive education. Results show that the programmes with the best chance of success are those that adhere to four key principles of programme design and delivery: Contracts, Content, Contexts and Communities.
