Ashridge Health and Wellbeing connection
This is an action research project designed to engage with between 6 and 10 local NHS sites to engage in the better integration of health and social care on issues of health and wellbeing and to explore what works (and doesn't work) within local systems.
Precise research questions are yet to be determined, but preliminary discussions have included questions such as:
How do we flex away from the dominant medical model of health?
How do we pull visions and strategies together, in communities of about 30-40,000?
How do we grow the capacity for asset based community development?
How do we reframe the challenge of health being about giving something up?
This project is currently in design phase
