James van Oosterom

James van Oosterom is a member of Ashridge Faculty. He has worked within a variety of private and public sector organisations of all sizes, typically at Board level, working predominantly in Europe and North America. The focus of his work lies with senior management groups to decide upon and effectively execute changes of direction. In the context of change consulting, James has particular experience in small and large group facilitation around developmental themes such as experiential learning, teambuilding, soft skills and leadership and strategy formulation. He also offers process consulting skills in areas such as mentoring and coaching, and in creating new organisation structures.
His clients have included Microsoft, The Economist Group, the DTI, Hewlett-Packard, the European Commission, the BBC, Sony, Channel 4 and Nokia.
.James graduated from Cambridge University (MA, Law), graduated from the Inns of Court School of Law (and was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn)), and has gained an MBA from Cranfield University.
