Hugh Pidgeon

MA, PGCE, AC.Dip

Hugh has extensive experience in the fields of strategic thinking, innovation and creativity, arbitration and conflict resolution, and ecologically sustainable development. He has worked with a number of leading international companies in architecture, broadcasting, renewable energy generation, the automotive and construction industries, food retailing, media telecommunications and the financial sector. He has worked with all the services of the criminal justice system in the UK, and is a trustee of the charity Prison Dialogue and of the Music Research Institute.

Hugh’s formal training and background was in organisational development and psychology, and in education. He holds a Masters degree from Sussex University. Early in his career, he spent three years in Thailand with appointments to the National Institute of Development and Business Administration and Universities in Bangkok and Nakhorn Pathom. He later returned to the Pacific Rim for a further three years, working at the Institute for Foreign Trade in the University of Peking, China, and has travelled widely in the region.

The Gift
