Howard Atkins

BSc (Hons), MSc

Howard Atkins specialises in helping senior managers develop their leadership capability, and in working with management teams as they address both personal and organisation change. Much of his work is with technical and functional specialists developing their leadership and consulting capabilities.

Howard has worked with organisations around the world including Volvo, Nokia, International Finance Corporation (IFC), M&G Investments, Hewlett Packard and the UK’s NHS. He was previously a Business Director and a member of the Ashridge Consulting leadership team. He teaches extensively on the Ashridge Masters in Organisation Consulting and was involved in the programme’s design.

Howard graduated in Business Economics from Southampton University, and completed a post graduate diploma in Organisation Development at Sheffield Business School. Howard also has a Masters degree in Organisation Development from Sheffield, and is qualified in the use of psychometric instruments.
