Eric has worked within the arena of leadership development and coaching for over 24 years, and is an accredited coach with Ashridge. His early background, as a Community Psychologist, was gained within the United States mental health system, where he practiced in the states of Pennsylvania and North Carolina. After emigrating to the UK, Eric retrained in Organisational Psychology in 1987, taking up a position with BT’s Business Psychology Group, where he contributing to its major leadership and culture change programmes. From 1992, he started his own business, increasing both depth and breadth of experience in such areas as: leadership transitions & executive coaching, leadership training, team coaching & career development programmes. Eric has had a close Associate relationship with Ashridge since 1997.
Eric began building his Executive Coaching portfolio with BT in the late 1980s, which included coaching senior managers with issues around performance, career transitions, & leadership development. For the past 15 years, he has worked as a leadership coach on the Ashridge Leadership Process (ALP), its 'flagship' leadership development programme. In addition, he provides coaching support to a range of ‘Open’ & ‘Tailored’ executive development programmes & as well as Executive Coaching for senior managers, including Board level. His client base stretches across organisations, sectors, and international borders. In addition to his coaching activity, Eric organises continuous, professional development workshops for Ashridge leadership coaches, and acts as a coach accreditor for Ashridge’s Coach Accreditation Process.
