Through a mix of tutor inputs, group work and experiential exercises you will have the opportunity to develop and practise a range of people management skills.
You will also have the opportunity to focus on how you can implement your ideas, manage performance through periods of change, and make a real and immediate difference back in your workplace.
The program brings together the key elements required to engage, motivate and deliver performance through others. The ‘into action’ element also provides the opportunity for you to fully integrate your learning.
By focusing on the personal leadership required to lead performance through change, you will learn how to implement the concepts and ideas you have learnt and make a difference to the performance of you and your team.

“I cannot recommend the Performance through People: Into action course highly enough. I am awash with learning and motivation as a result of it.
There has not been a bit of the experience I have not enjoyed. I also feel I have learned more in a week than I have in years. Excellent.
This is the first course of this type I have been on and the benefit to me has been way beyond my expectations. The tutoring has been first class and I am left wanting more. I will be looking at the options and making a case for another course.”
Val Conway, Commercial Development Executive, West Northants Development Corporation
“I came here wondering what I could learn as I already considered myself to be an effective manager. I’m glad to learn that I am effective – but there is always more to learn, so the end result is that I came away with even more tools and skills to add to my arsenal.”
Steve Davis, Volunteer Programme Manager, Dorset Wildlife Trust
“I would recommend Ashridge programs to all my managers.”
Mahmoud El Hindi, Mednet, Bahrain
“The Ashridge program by far excelled over similar programs that I have attended in teaching very applicable leadership behaviors that I can take back and start to use immediately.”
Matt Livigni, Continental AG
“These five days were challenging, demanding and still a lot of fun. Ashridge gave me new thoughts and allowed me to step back and reflect on which areas I am doing well and what can be improved to become a better leader.”
Patrick Pruess, Head of Product Management, Gothaer Insurance
“An excellent, varied program intense but well-ordered and enjoyable. Lots of good skills emerged that I will definitely try to use in my workplace.”
Mark Redgrove, Technical Support Manager, Axflow Ltd
“The course shows you that whilst you might naturally lean towards same leadership styles or management techniques it’s more important to recognise where you are and to challenge yourself.”
Fiona Sansom, Supporter Development Management, Dorset Wildlife Trust
“Ashridge learning is not about classwork but practical demonstration of performance tools, skills and engagement characteristics.”
Sylvester Idemudia, Executive Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation
“Life changing experience, will make me think differently.”
Harshal Gore, Membership Services Manager, GS1 UK
