Driving Growth and Innovation is a highly practical three-day program which explores how you can grow your business and make innovation work for you. We apply a proven framework to evaluate growth initiatives.
Our tutors will help you assess your options to find the optimal path for your organization, using best practice and latest real-world thinking to create action plans for growth.
You will review everything, including: the potential and requirements for market penetration; product range development; re-packaging existing propositions; acquisition; efficiency initiative plans and tapping hidden assets.
The program draws on the best thinking in applying innovation. We also give you techniques for ‘unblocking’ new ideas from your teams.
Content and Structure
Before coming on the program, you will complete an online psychometric test to explore your personal capabilities for innovation and creativity. You will also be invited to join an online discussion forum to share examples of best practice in innovation with other participants.
To ensure that your learning is fully relevant and rooted in your own organization, you are asked to complete a short exercise analysing the growth of your business. You will have the opportunity to reflect on this during the residential phase of the program.
The program is delivered through a dynamic combination of taught modules, group discussions and individual exercises. We use leading and trusted models based on our research and experience to give you a detailed grounding in growth frameworks. You acquire the tools to identify and harness opportunities to innovate, optimise and scale your business. You also conduct an application exercise to clarify the meaning for you and your organization.
The program covers:
Understanding value and growth dynamics
Encouraging innovation within teams
An experiential task to test new insights
Discovering growth and innovation concepts and application toolkits
Looking at growth insights for your business
Planning for personal and business results
Tutors will facilitate a virtual follow-up session for the group, six weeks after the residential phase. This allows you and the other participants in your group to review your actions and support you all to make further progress.
You are also given continued access to your online program portal and Virtual Ashridge content for six months after your residential stay.
This program is a module of our Advanced Management Program.
