Who is this course for?

An advanced course for consultants working with organizations, or as an internal management development adviser, HR professional, or change consultant. You’re already working as a coach, but are looking to dramatically improve your level of impact on individuals in organizations.

What will I learn?

This course is designed to dramatically increase your ability to impact organizations with which you currently consult. Through a variety of psychological theories and models, sound business knowledge, and facilitative coaching, you’ll acquire skills which will allow you to grow your coaching and consulting practice.

By the end, you’ll:
  • Better understand others’ behaviors, and how to respond best to enable change
  • Acquire high-level coaching skills to increase your impact and effectiveness
  • Know how to optimize the relationship between coach and client to deliver influential coaching
  • Have the option to undergo a 1.5 day assessment to gain the qualification of an Ashridge Accredited Coach.

To enhance your coaching capabilities to facilitate clients in teams and group settings, an alternative open program, Team Coaching for Organization Consultants starts on 15-17 November 2017.

To maximize the relevancy of your learning, we’ll engage with you before you arrive to measure your current unique behavioral profile as a coach. We’ll suggest relevant pre-reading materials so that you arrive ready to learn.
Over five two-day sessions, you’ll put into action models and frameworks acquired in the classroom through interactive learning experiences. These activities are designed to allow you to practice and apply your new knowledge in a supported environment, with plenty of group feedback from peers and facilitators.
You’ll learn from faculty with real experience working with organizations. More than just academics, our professors have been consultants, coaches, and advisors to some of the top FTSE 100 companies. You will be supervised on your current coaching practice and you will receive guidance on how to achieve the Ashridge Accreditation Process, which provides an internationally recognized quality standard of executive coaching competence.

This course has achieved the European Mentoring and Coaching Council’s European Quality Award (EQA) at Senior Practitioner level. Over five two-day sessions you will experience a unique learning process, during which you practice the application of models and frameworks. It also forms Module 1 of the Masters in Executive Coaching.
