Masters in Sustainability and Responsibility

This programme has developed me to be a much more informed and knowledgeable practitioner who is now able to engage and challenge more effectively with a range of colleagues involved in delivering against CSR/Sustainability targets.

The best investment I've ever made. It has changed my approach to learning and development and I am now in the process of setting up projects that are systemic in their approach and structure and that include the development of reflective practice to drive changes.

The Masters programme has given me an improved understanding of qualitative as well as quantitative performance and an increased ability to see through a much wider lens.

One of the MSc tutors, Gill Coleman, told me that she believed in the transformative power of education. I do. I have seen it with my own eyes. Of the 50 employees at CDP, seven completed the MSc in Responsibility and Business Practice. We were not given a meal, but instead taught how to fish, so now we can feed ourselves, forever. That is the essence of transformative educational power.

The programme allows you to see the wider systems, beyond the current situation. It has allowed me to cope personally with the enormity of this and not to be caught in the headlights.

Doing my MSc not only deepened and broadened my intellectual capacity in both my professional and personal life, but it helped me unpack and make sense of where my role is in the 'community' of responsible practice. That was truly empowering.
