The Financial Times carries out annual rankings looking at tailored and open executive education programmes and MBAs. The rankings are predominantly based on the views of the business school’s customers and clients.
In the 2009 Financial Times executive education rankings looking at tailored programmes, Ashridge is the number one school in the UK for the third year running.
In the global list of the top 65 tailored providers, based primarily on the views of clients, Ashridge is 11th and is ranked 6th in Europe. Ashridge scores well in a number of criteria, particularly its international focus, being ranked first in the world for both international clients.
In the rankings for open programmes, Ashridge is one of the top five schools in the UK, top 20 in Europe and 42nd globally. Again, it is ranked fourth in the world for faculty diversity and 19th for international participants.
The annual rankings, which have been published for the last ten years, examine a range of criteria including course design, teaching materials, faculty, food and accommodation, faculty diversity and new skills and learning.
In the 2009 Financial Times Executive MBA rankings published in October 2009, Ashridge is ranked amongst the top 20 of European business schools and top 10 within the UK. In the overall ranking, Ashridge was 52 in the world.
