Guy gained early experiences across countries and organisations. For example, working as a senior OD manager in an engineering company, deputy manager in a sailing club, and conducting research as an organisational psychologist on the impact of stress and culture on the performance and well being of airline pilots.
Guy is a highly experienced Chartered Organisational Psychologist, leadership developer, facilitator, executive coach and the Head of the Ashridge NHS Practice. He has over 15 years' experience as an organisation consultant working in a range of sectors including healthcare, energy, media, telecommunications and high-tech industries. His expertise is in organisational consulting, management and leadership development, talent management, employee engagement and developing individual, group and organisational change competence. Clients include Novo Nordisk, BSkyB, Haniel Group, World Health Organization (WHO) and the UK National Health Service (NHS).
Guy is particularly interested in the area of organisational consulting. Currently, he is leading an alliance, together with McKinsey, to provide OD support for UK NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups.
Guy has published articles in the areas of organisational consulting and the role of emotions at work and writes regularly for the Guardian healthcare section.
